Advanced sizing tool and digital twin for power plants
Evaluate, size, and monitor solar PV and hybrid integrations with real-world controller dynamics
Learn more about ECassessment and what makes it unique
ECassessment is ENcombi's proprietary software tool designed specifically to evaluate, size, and monitor your power systems. Operating seamlessly within the ENcombi ecosystem, it serves a dual purpose: acting as both a feasibility sizing tool for future projects and a digital twin for active, running power plants.
Feasibility Studies (Sizing)
Simulate the addition of PV to an existing site with precision. By inputting energy requirements and environmental data, you can accurately assess whether a solar integration is viable and optimally size the system before any physical construction or capital expenditure begins.
Digital Twin (Monitoring)
For power plants that are already operational and registered in ENcombi's ECcloud, ECassessment acts as a virtual replica. You can run simulations to compare the expected energy yield against the actual real-world performance of the site, making it incredibly easy to identify inefficiencies, curtailment losses, or hardware faults.
Realistic Controller Dynamics
Unlike generic simulation tools, ECassessment factors in the exact control dynamics, algorithms, and settings of ENcombi's actual ECpv hardware controllers. This ensures that your simulations closely mirror real-world behavior and grid limitations.
Flexible Data Inputs & Integration
Users can upload custom data sets using standard CSV files. If specific local weather data is missing, the tool calculates base solar irradiance and temperature using established meteorological models. Furthermore, it imports data sets directly from ECcloud, utilizing the same intuitive graphical data representation and reporting formats you are already used to.
