1. Who We Are

1.1 ENcombi ApS ("ENcombi", "we", "us") operates encombi.com and related digital services. For questions about this policy, contact us at support@encombi.com.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 We collect only what is necessary to provide our services:

  • Contact form submissions (name, email address, message content)
  • Usage data via analytics (pages visited, browser type, country)
  • Messages sent to Alvis, our AI assistant (see section 3)

2.2 We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Alvis AI Assistant

3.1 Alvis is an AI-powered chat assistant embedded on this website. When you use Alvis, the following applies:

3.2 What is sent: Each message you type and the recent conversation history for that session are transmitted to our server to generate a response.

3.3 Third-party AI processor: Messages are processed by Google Gemini (Google LLC) to generate responses. ENcombi uses Google's paid API tier. Under Google's paid service terms, your prompts, system instructions, and responses are not used to train Google's models and are not subject to human review by Google. Data is transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google is certified. Google retains prompt data for up to 30 days for abuse-prevention purposes, after which it is deleted. See Google's privacy policy for full details.

3.4 No session storage: ENcombi does not store your conversation history on our servers. Each session is stateless — messages are not saved after your session ends.

3.5 Logs: Server logs may record anonymised request metadata (timestamp, response time) for operational purposes. Logs are written to our hosting infrastructure and are not stored by ENcombi beyond what the infrastructure provider retains by default.

3.6 Do not share sensitive data: Do not include personal identification numbers, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal information in Alvis conversations.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

4.1 We process personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (operating and improving our services) and, where required, with your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@encombi.com.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

5.1 We use cookies and browser local storage for functional purposes only — for example, remembering whether you have already seen the Alvis onboarding. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

6. Your Rights

6.1 Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us at support@encombi.com to exercise these rights.

7. Changes to This Policy

7.1 We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
