The track record

We believe the true test of energy management isn't how it runs in a simulation - it's how it stabilizes the grid when conditions turn volatile. So we build controllers that deliver predictable control when it matters most.

Our platform focuses on what matters in the field: fast, deterministic balancing, universal hardware compatibility, and autonomous edge control that never depends on a cloud connection to protect the plant. Easy to install and cost-efficient, on new projects and existing installations alike.

Our capabilities

  • Use ECassessment as your sizing tool and as a digital twin for your running plants

Use ECassessment to perform feasibility studies for adding PV to a site or as a digital twin to compare expected vs actual performance for sites registered in ECcloud. ECassessment can load data from ECcloud or from CSV uploads and provides consistent graphical reporting identical to ECcloud. It supports custom datasets, up to one year of analysis, and can estimate base irradiance and temperature when weather data is missing.

    • User-friendly interface for feasibility studies and digital-twin comparisons
    • Models control dynamics of ECpv controller and associated settings
    • Up to one year of analysis
    • Support for CSV uploads and custom datasets
    • Fallback irradiance/temperature models when weather data is missing
    • Uses ECcloud datasets and presents identical graphical reports
  • ECpv2 Logger is a universal, easy to integrate logger for PV and PV/gensets (on- or off-grid)

Looking for a user-friendly, multi-functional logger for your site? The ECpv2 Logger interfaces directly with inverters, power meters, genset controllers and weather sensors to provide uniform Modbus data and live monitoring via ECweb. It is commonly used to integrate with onsite SCADA, capture fuel and power consumption for analysis and sizing, and log plant data locally (SD/USB) or export to ECcloud, FTP or MySQL for reporting and long-term analysis. The unit also supports breaker feedback (digital inputs) and relay outputs for protection and control.

    • Direct interface to inverters, power meters, genset controllers and weather sensors
    • Uniform Modbus mapping for consistent site data across hardware
    • Integrates with onsite SCADA and provides live monitoring via ECweb
    • Logs fuel and power consumption for analysis and sizing
    • Local SD/USB logging plus export to ECcloud / FTP / MySQL
    • Supports breaker feedback (digital inputs) and relay outputs for control/SCADA
  • The easy way to control PV power export towards the grid in any size of PV plant

If you need precise control of power exported to the public utility, ECpv2 Solar provides a direct interface to solar inverters and power meters and dynamically controls aggregate inverter output with linear, double-decimal precision. Typical uses include enforcing zero-export limits, allowing partial export, or capping export at a fixed power level. Production is measured via power meters or inverter measurements and grid flow is monitored by a utility power meter.

ECpv2 Solar supports breaker feedback (digital inputs) and relay outputs so it can trip breakers or signal status in enforcement scenarios. It also supports RRCR interface via digital input for export limitation and exposes a Modbus Slave port for external master control (PLC/SCADA). Onsite setup and live monitoring are available through ECweb; data can be logged locally (SD/USB) and exported to ECcloud, FTP or MySQL for reporting and analysis.

    • Zero-export, partial-export or fixed-power export control
    • Direct interface to solar inverters and power meters for accurate production measurement
    • Breaker feedback (digital inputs) and relay outputs for protection/enforcement
    • Supports RRCR interface for export limitation
    • Modbus Slave port for external master control (PLC/SCADA)
    • Local logging (SD/USB) plus export to ECcloud / FTP / MySQL
    • Live monitoring and setup via ECweb
  • The easy way to save fuel in any size of PV/Genset plant

If you need to control, protect and monitor your PV/genset plant the ECpv2 S, M and L provide a scalable hybrid controller. ECpv2 interfaces directly with solar inverters, power meters and genset controllers and dynamically controls inverter output with linear, double-decimal precision to enable safe hybrid operation and fuel savings. It is used for fuel saving in both off-grid and on-grid PV/genset applications and can manage export or prevent unwanted export when required. In off-grid scenarios ECpv2 can enable spinning reserve with compatible synchronizing genset controllers. The controller supports breaker feedback (digital inputs) and relay outputs for protection, and exposes a Modbus Slave port for external master control (PLC/SCADA). Site setup and live monitoring are provided via ECweb; data can be logged locally (SD/USB) or exported to ECcloud, FTP or MySQL for reporting and analysis.

System FAQ

Inside the System

Questions about the system

Which kinds of sites does the system cover?

Decentralized PV, PV hybrid power plants, PV/genset sites and microgrids, on new projects and existing installations alike.

The capabilities span site assessment, logging, PV power export control, PV/genset, BESS on-grid and microgrid.

What happens in a self-consumption setup?

The controller makes sure solar production never exceeds the local load, so no power is fed back into the public grid.

This works for simple rooftop installations as well as factories or campuses with several PV feed-in points.

If control over PV production is lost, the controller can trip a relay to disconnect the PV plant until control is restored.

How much fuel can a PV/genset site save?

The controller prioritizes solar energy. In theory, PV can cover up to 70% of the load, limited by the minimum load of the gensets.

Because of solar availability and night-time consumption, average diesel fuel savings are typically around 20%. We recommend careful system design and realistic calculations.

Does the plant depend on a cloud connection?

No. Control runs on the controller at the site and never depends on a cloud connection to protect the plant.

Once the controller is configured and running, you can set it and forget it: it keeps controlling the plant securely.

Can I reach a site remotely without a public IP?

Yes. EClink gives VPN access to your ECpv or ECcube and any web server on the same network, straight from ECcloud.

It connects over GSM, LAN or WiFi, and can be added to existing installations.

Can a battery earn money from spot prices?

Yes. ECpvX runs scheduled or automatic arbitrage, including ENTSO-E spot-price integration.

In ECcloud you can set a minimum profit in euros, so the battery only charges or discharges when it pays off.
